I know its been ages since I last posted. I could use the excuse that there has been no time, or that its been really hectic.. but why lie?! Truth is, I've just been REALLYYY put off from posting. Theres something about the blogger world which is "Nasty", the way people judge you based on the way your blog looks, the way people look to see how many followers you have to compete with you. Its almost like being back at school where everyone wants to be the popular kid, the one with the most. Some people write their blogs out of pure enjoyment and pleasure, they write it and don't make it sound like a task. Alot of the blogs I follow sometimes lack in posts and then feel the need to say their sorry and explain their reasons for slacking off abit, (I myself have done this in the past) but I figured if their doing that, then their blog has turnt into a little bit of a chore instead of a fun thing for them to just be creative with. I mean, c'mon if your having to apologise for not posting stuff to your followers, then you have made your blog a little sorta job. I mean I get that you may have 1000+ followers and suddenly they have gone from being your follower to being your public and its almost a responsibility of yours to post for your awaiting public, and if that's what your happy with then so be it. I just mean to say, that if your blog was your own little personal space on the web where you were free to say and write what you wanted and post as often as you wanted and now because of the amount of followers or views you've had you suddenly change it up and are suddenly saying sorry for not posting often enough, then I think you've lost sight of why you started a blog to begin with. There are many other blogs used as journals, literally, diary entries of the happenings of their days! I have to say I follow SOOO many blogs that its hard to keep up with, one thing they all had in come was "beauty".. and to be honest I'm sick of it. Not sick of following beauty blogs, but just generally sick of sticking to one type of blog...!! I'm going to venture out there and follow blogs of other topics. Each to their own of course, if your happy and content with your little space and it don't seem like a chore to you then woop, you haven't lost sight of why you may have started it.

Are you ready for a Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

I am, so..lets begin.

AWKWARD

- Being told off for not having an activity out for the afternoon children, while the rest of the other children slept, "Urm, Miss Boss lady, they cant make too much noise with an activity, after all, there are over 30 other children sleeping in the premises.." D'oh.

- Running out of black ink for the printer, cant print any cute pictures of Bella, Grr.

- Trying to secretly log a work member out of facebook, from the actual work computer when in walks a parent ready for a chit chat with me, WOW.

- Going all the way to Tesco's to have a look at the doggie treats to buy Bella, when 3 minutes into the shop, Danny realises he has left his Mac Book in the back seat of the car, in full eye sight of the thieves of London. Cue..us running back to the car as quick as..looking like thieves ourselves.

- Me and Danny wearing matching Portugal coats to Tesco's and Sylvia saying we look like a couple that goes jogging together.. urm GREAT :|

- Having to pay £2 for a birthday card, that should have been brought by someone who was just LAZY!

- Having my nails done in the salon, when this chavvy family were there, top it all off, my kid sister knows them:/ depressive stuff.

- Bella understands "Give me Hand" instead of "Give me Paw"..WHY? Danny's mum didn't know how to say "PAW" when teaching her it, so said Hand. Aww shucks.

- My Credit and Debit card bills..!! AWKWARDDD!

AWESOME

- Not having to go work tomorrow, only having to attend a training thing, woop dee doo...! Early finish for me.

- Its nearly the weekend, and I'm staying at Danny's with Bella. ♥

- Literally leaving the work place at 5 without caring or giving 2silly shits.

- Getting my nails done, even though I know I haven't got the money for it. :( ops.

- Having a lovely fruit salad from "Boots".. yummy.

- Making a fact file about puppies and dogs and actually reading it.

-Also having Sylvia help me make it.

- Receiving Bella's free pet insurance! :D

Hey Hey mii dears, Guess what day it is?! That's right Thursday..you know what that means right? It's time for another round of Awkward and Awesome!! :)

(I'm going to try really hard to stick to this feature..)

Dont' forget where I first saw this idea, and thought it was good, The lovely Sydney at The Daybook. Check her out.

So lets get started straight away..

AWKWARD

-The fact I have needed to do a wee all day today, not just one, as if I've been holding it in all day..oh no, but as soon as I step out the house, I give it, 10 minutes before I need a bathroom again. Grr.

- Dropping all my cookies out of my locker at work and having crumbs everywhere, How can I cover it up? Flick the crumbs on the floor and blame the other staff.

- Going to the shops with my little sister Monica and trying on prom dresses just for the fun of it, actually loving the prom dresses and taking pictures, only for my camera NOT to save them, D'oh.

- Seeing the daughter of the boss in the shops doorway and completely ignoring her as if the shop was so packed I couldn't spot her out, from the 2 people in the doorway.

- Being embarrassed to try on any shoes, in any shop, due to the Ganglion on my foot and my paranoia of how BIG it must look to everyone else.

- Going to loads of different shops, picking stuff up to buy and then remembering I need to save, save and save more..for a car, for the holiday, and for summer! oh great. Shopping with no money, is so depressive.

-Failing an inspection at work and having to stay behind for an extra 2 hours to do more training to "better myself". urgh.

- The word ~~"AWKWARD"~~, I keep miss spelling it, argh, driving me insane.

AWESOME

- Having a half day off work, basically finishing at midday and knowing tomorrow when I go in, I wont see the boss, as she's gone away.

- Being able to spend the whole afternoon with my kid sister and having her talk about boys for about half hour non stop. Wow that chick, can talk.

- Enjoying my seafood medley when I got in from all our window shopping.

-Watching Heath Ledger films again, "10 things I hate about you" has been on 3 times so far.

-The weather, the sun has come out to play, and I am so excited, Spring is finally here, I can't wait for the time change and then it will be complete.

- Getting paid this Monday, although that means having to suffer the whole weekend with no money. Boo.

- Having completed quite a few projects the boss wanted me to at work. Yay me.

- My little key child coming back from Poland on Monday, Yess, Kaleve i have missed you. ♥

- Going shopping for the WHOLE afternoon and spending less then a tenner while out. :)

- Trying on prom dresses with my little sister, plus going into every single shop we liked and trying clothes on then saying "Nope, it's not quite right, I'll leave it thanks" and walking out feeling like a Gangsta..!!

- Going Mothercare and choosing baby stuff with my kid sister for our future babies.. haha.

- Urm, One day till the weekend?! Wooop.

As you can see, the Awesome overwrite the Awkward this week, oh yeah.. What a good day!

The Past Weekend.

Hello, my dears, I know it's been ages..almost a week to be exact and that is terrible. I really need a kick up the butt to make sure I do some more posts, even if they are scheduled for a later time, at least they get done. I'm sorry. Over the past weekend it was my Middle sister's Sylvia's birthday and she turnt 17. The big 1-7, as in..I'm almost a full adult, my last year of being a "non adult" as she put it.
So Friday, the 18th was her birthday and I spent it at work and she spent it at college with mates, I then also spent some time in the emergency room but that's a whole different post to do with my little sister,Monica who got her hand crushed at school. :( In the evening we watched comic relief and chillaxed.
Saturday was her day, where she hanged out with her friends in Nandos and went ice-skating, Finally Sunday was the family party, where we all went over to Danny's house and ate the cake,, (that our daddy made, i may add) chilled a bit and she finally got my gift to her, a new Notebook HP Laptop. :)

First Feature Post: Awkward & Awesome Thursday. 1.

HeyHooo. So recently I have been having writers block or in other words, lack of inspiration for posting. I am sorry for that, but I also realised that I don't have any features on my blog, which is a good thing and a bad thing. For one I don't have to make sure I post a certain post on a certain day, but on the other hand it would be great if when I did feel like this, you know with the writers block, if I had a little feature post to do, then I might have something to help fill the void. So I have decided to start my features on Thursdays! It shall be called.. AWKWARD AND AWESOME THURSDAY. I got this little idea from a blog I adore, The Daybook. The lovely Sydney writes there, if you haven't checked her out I seriously suggest you do. Anyways, on to the post, it's pretty simple really..

AWKWARD

- The huge spot on the back of my head, which is making it painful to lie down, tie my hair up or even brush my hair, Grr, with all due respect Mr Spot, please bugger off.

-The fake "Hi Emma" to my boss at work, didn't want to say hello, but felt awkward because she was starting to moan already, thought it was quite smart on my part to divert attention away from moans.

-Boyfriend and Father in front room, doing some male bonding, (this I like..) however the male bonding over football is driving me insane. In fact Football on the whole, kindly disappear for a while, my Boyfriend ain't the same since you've been here.

- The moment you take something off a child, and she starts to scream the building down, just as mum walks in..fast forward a lot of explaining the situation before mum thinks otherwise.

- Your boss telling you about the new lock and that it should be used properly, and you say that, your thinking of locking work mates in there as a joke, thinking she will see the funny side, cue.. no laughing or amusement, in fact more moans directed at me for even thinking such a thing! :/

- Biting your nails too far low that now its sore, stupid temptation. In fact, biting your nails FULL STOP.

- Buying flowers in the shop for your little sister and the checkout man grabbing them, smiling at you and saying "Thanks their really nice, you shouldn't have.." "Urmm.. PARDON?!" that's all I came out with.

- Going to buy bits for the time of the month, and buying the wrong size, commence going back a few hours later and being served by the same person again..she must be thinking " urm wow, you must have a heavy flow..".

AWESOME

- The Boyfriend on his way home, sweeping me off my feet and putting me in the car and going for a little drive with me anywhere, I had no shoeies on or anything, I love when he's like this.

- The football match I had with the kiddies at work today, pure excitement to try and get the ball away from me, an adult, who is clearly stronger and faster then all of them, the result.. I had about 94% possession of the ball.

-Getting money out of the bank because you think you owe your dad and then when you go to give it to him, he says's "no, that was for you remember", whoop more monies for me.

-The fact it's little sisters birthday, right now, as its passed midnight, Happy Birthday Sylvia, I love you X.

-The father turning around to me and saying, "If I didn't have you girls to look after, I would go down to Japan and help them do all the rebuilding and stuff..", I didn't know father was so touched by world disasters like the Japan one.

-Finishing work 5 minutes early. Whoop, go me.

Hello blogging world,

So how was your weekends? I spent mine really ill with a fever and a stuffed nose as well as a sore throat. Couldn't eat, swallow or taste anything. I still managed to have a little barbecue with the family, Ribs, Ribs and more Ribs, what more could a girl ask for?.. except maybe a clear nose to be able to breath and good taste buds to be able to taste all the delicious foods. Anyways, here's some pictures of the food! :) Yumm!

Hellooo, So today i have been to the doctors as my foot has been hurting me for a while, and i've noticed a smallish bump on my right foot on the right side, Well acording to my doctor i have a ganglion. I have to make it soft by applying cotton wall to it and tapeing it down over the bump or getting cotton wall and placing it in my shoes. If in a month it has not cleared up, surgery it is. :| great, they remove the skin over it and then get rid of the actual ganglion and then sitch the skin back up! I'm soooo scared of that, Help?!

I'm not on my way to an appointment in Wood Green and after that, i will be left with all the shops, i have to try my best to not waste money in any of them, as i have to save for summer and also my little sister's birthday next week. Besides i spend way too much on beauty related products so its time for a ban. For lent this year im giving up shopping for unnessary things, i am afarid i will proberbly go into WHSmith and buy some storage bits and bobs.. :( once again Help!?

Anyways, this post is a small catch up and a little ramble, i was also messing around with my camera today, trying new lighting.. wana see the pictures?

February Favourites.

Hey, trying to do this post while me and Danny have the Barcelona vs Arsenal game going on in the background! All i can say is, Barcelona have won and Van Persie should NOT have had that red card. On to my gorgeous post.

My February Favourites!

(I realise this is a teeny bit late, but better late then NEVER?! Right?)

Charlie Chic Body Spray. I love the smell of this and it costs next to nothing.
LUSH products. From bath bombs to bubble bars, im obsessed.
Maybelline - The Eraser. Used this all through February and now we're in March i have officially finished it. I have quite greasy skin and although this is a great foundation because it gives me great coverage, it isnt matte, therefore half way through the day, the shine would appear again.
MUA Lipstick shade 11. I have been wearing this lipstick to work everyday, it's one of them shades thats very wearable on a day to day basis.
17 Blusher - First Kiss. This is the perfect colour for rosy cheeks.
Collection 2000 Exterme mascara in Black. The wand to this brush is very good for my eyelashes, i dont have amazing eyelashes to begin with, but i have found that this mascara makes it look like i have much thicker and fuller eyelashes then i actually do. I like this mascara soo much better then my January favourite one.
My red Gloves from Primark. It was so cold all throughout February and if your like me, and have to wake up at the crack of dawn for work and only finish late into the evening when its the coldest part of the days, then you will understand my Febraury favourites of GLOVES. I love mine.
Patrick Swayze's autobiography. I read this book in a total of 2 days, Danny couldn't believe it, but once i got into it, it was very hard to put down, it's such a great read on his life and his family including his lovely wife. If your a fan of him or his work i would recommend this book, was great to find out little things about my favourite ever film "Dirty Dancing" and another great one by him "Ghost". Psst, did you know Patrick wanted to be a ballet dancer and not an actor, it was kind of a last resort thing because of his knee?! ya see, go pick it up and read. Excellent.

Hello lovelies, Got an outfit of the day. I woke up this morning with the sun shimmering through my curtains and so decided on wearing a skirt to work. I quickly put together this little outfit and went on my way. Little did i know, that i would get little compliments all through out the day. So in my opinion Thumbs up for this little outfit!

Ignore the face expressions and the body stances, it has always felt ~~weird~~ awkward to me, to stand there still and sort of ~~model~~ show off an outfit, and for some reason the quality of these images isn't very good either, not enough focus perhaps!?

Goodbye February & Hello March.

Hello Dears, now that the month of March is finally upon us, I was expecting a little change in the weather. I wont say I was expecting sunshine throughout the whole day, or the type of weather where people can have water fights, but I wasn't expecting to have to wear my gloves out every morning and evening to and from work. I seriously can not wait for a little spring to come for us. I personally need the sun, it makes me happy, makes my skin look healthier and fresher, makes you more excited to face the day and helps with life's biggest challenge of all. The process of getting out of bed in the morning. I have to be awake between the hours of 6:30am - 7:30am, and most mornings, its grey, cloudy, dull and lifeless outside, not to mention freezingg. It's no wonder I love the snooze button on my phone, I press it practically every morning. With weather and a sight like that, nobody wants to be getting out of the bed. Getting up is one of life's hardest tasks, so why make it even harder?!

The point of this point, is I can not wait for a little sunshine to come out from behind all that grey. It wont make getting out of bed early feel amazing or nothing, but the sun shining into the bedroom has that certain feeling that makes you want to get up and greet the day with a little smile on your face..so come on, Spring and Summer.. Please hurry, we're dying over here because we miss you so much!! :)

Hello my cuties,

I have to firstly apologise for my lack of posts recently. I have no real reason, mostly procrastination, you see, I will start a post, or get an idea in my head that I feel I need to post something based about or around it, but suddenly and I mean so suddenly I will randomly come across something else on the net or in my life and then there goes the motivation for the blog post! Sorry :$

Next I want to say a big HELLOOO to my new followers, :Waves: thank you for taking the time to check my blog out, don't forget to leave me your name and the country your from in my comments, so I get to know a little more about each of you! :)

Now I would also like to say a huge thank you to Sabrina, this chick mentioned me in her blog and therefore got me a few followers.. "Thank you doll, cant wait till the next time we hang out". Check her blog out HERE if you haven't already!

Now on to today's post, I have a February Favourites I need to post, but I haven't got round to actually taking the pictures for it, to be fair I have hardly taken any pictures lately!? I also have a post to do about my bags, but again I need to take the pictures which I still haven't got around to doing! :)

Although what I have taken a picture of, is the amazing letter I got in the post, from my amazing friend/big sister Sammie. She sent me 6 pages of beautiful words, pictures and cute little stickers, which brought back so many memories. She also sent a mix CD which I am in love with, it has all the songs that our friendship has lived through. Anything from Paramore to Dolly Parton. We have decided to put pen to paper more often and write little letters to each other, as everyone now a days seems to text, phone, twitter, email or facebook each other. We're going old style and lining up in the post office to buy stamps and then finding a red post box to post them to each other, as I live in London and she's up in Preston!

I have been off work this week, and tomorrow is my last day off. I plan to have a duvet day, maybe playing some games and watching some DVDs with my sisters. I've got to spend some time with them this week, and its been alright. We had a day out yesterday in Lambeth, and a day of shopping before that. I have also been running around helping Danny's dad out with some stuff this week, So much for a week off!

Last week I started and finished reading Patrick Swayze's Autobiography. It had me in tears at the end, because when he wrote the book he kinda made the last few sentences stuff like " I will fight this until the end!" or "I'm gonna beat it, I will never give up!" and it brought a tear to my eye because he is of course now Deceased. :( The love him and his wife Lisa shared was a beautiful though and I guess in all of this, she is now the victim.

(I have no clue as to why I went off on a odd ramble there about Patrick, maybe because I was watching clips of my favourite film ever "Dirty Dancing" and it reminded me of the book. - Sorry!)

Time for a major rant, sorry in advance!

I did a HUGE clear out of my wardrobe the other night, I threw out dresses, that were ruined, didn't fit or there was just generally something wrong with them. I threw out tops, jackets, trousers, bras and knickers (including thongs and other bits) I then went down to the rubbish bin located in my garden and threw it all in there. My sisters also made bags of rubbish which we threw in there too. Imagine my surprise when at 8am, the next morning i hear gibberish talking from outside, I go to the window and see 2 gypsies going through my rubbish and filling up an empty buggy with my clothes. This made me angry, now I don't know why it made me so angry, should I have just let them take my clothes?, I mean it was for the rubbish anyway..right? but something inside made me really angry, perhaps it was the mess they were making around my garden with the clothes and the rubbish bags, perhaps it was that the night before they walked past my neighbours house and threw into her nice clean garden a recycling bin full of bits of crap and just left it there scattered around (bare in mind, my neighbour is elderly and over 70 and hardly leaves the house..seems real fair that she's gonna have to clean all that up alone)! Whatever it was inside me, just snapped and I stormed downstairs (no make up on, not even a bra - just Pj's and a robe) and had a huge fight with them, while they argued back in Romanian. I pointed at the bin and told them to put the bags back in there..One of the the cheeky cows, picked the bag up and put it on the buggy and started walking off. I swear I could have pulled her long plaited hair backwards when I saw her start to walk off,, i mean how rude? I shouted at her again and pointed towards my bin, she put the bags back in where they belonged. While muttering to the other Gypsy in Romanian once more, they then calmly walked off with a buggy full of my stuff, I could see an old handbag of mine (I don't know why I didn't do it, but I should have taken everything off that buggy and thrown it into the bin in front of them, but i think maybe I didn't want to touch them or anything, they didn't exactly look clean!) They walked off a bit and walked into one of my other neighbours gardens and started going through their bins. This to me is DISGUSTING! I then took the bags out of the bin and put them in my front hallway, and shut my door, I heard them go to my bin again (probably thought, "now the mad woman is gone lets try again", but no luck as all the bags were with me). Although the bag I had made up full of clothes was missing, I'm assuming they took most of my clothes and didn't make it to my sisters bags before I got there. Funny thing is, my bras, knickers, thongs and all sorts of undergarments were all gone, that's even more DISGUSTING! I filed a complaint to the council, but whats the point? the council here is soo lame! Danny says, I should have just let them take the stuff, I mean it was for the rubbish anyway, but that's not the point?! to me, the point is, if its MY rubbish in My rubbish bags and I have put them in MY bin that's in MY garden then DON'T touch it, I couldn't care if it's going to the tip or if its not, Its my possessions and in my property, so don't touch them, That's like coming into my house seeing a DVD that's not near the other DVDS and taking it. No, it just don't work like that. Also if I allowed them to do it, what message does that give them..?? "Lets try again and again.." until we're known as the house that has the bin with the most treasure in..! Hmph. Its funny, that if I want my garden to remain clean and if I want peace of mind, I have to keep my rubbish bags, when they have clothes, shoes, bags or any type of thing like that, with me inside my house until collection day, otherwise I get gypsies going through it all and throwing crap out everywhere and then walking away without a care in the world. They only moved in about a month ago, so prepare yourselfs, my dear readers for my posts on my new annoying and slightly weird Gypsy neighbours!

RANT DONE - I feel a little better..!

What are your thoughts on these kind of gypsies!?

Also, to end on a good note.. one of the things I look forward to now every night, has to be "Sabrina the teenage witch" time. I found some links to this show on youtube the other day and since then I have been hooked!! Me and my sisters used to watch it growing up and now we watch at least 2 epsiodes a night, funny how I remember some of the stuff their about to say, even before they do say it. I love when me and Sylvia gather around and watch it together! :) Always brings a smile to my face. Can't wait for payday, may buy the collection on ebay!

LUSH Part 2.

Halooo,

So as most of you know I went to LUSH this week and brought some products, I already did a post of one and most of you liked it. I now have the second one to do a small review on.

The Ex Factor by LUSH is great, as soon as it touched the water it exploded and my water turned Bright blue as expected. This one was a little different to The Frog Prince however, as this one, towards the end of it, made lots of little bubbles appear throughout my bath, The Frog Prince left no bubbles..but this one made a few of them, as well as spinning its way around the whole tub like crazy. Again just as before this one had an amazing smell, that even Danny couldn't help but mention and it left the smell lingering in the bathroom for ages. This week I also received my Moody Moo Package from the gorgeous Anna, I won the contest on her blog and this was my little prize, I used the bath pillow for my gorgeous LUSH bath, and felt deeply relaxed!!

The Imperial War Museum Day Out.

Good evening there,

Today has a been a tiring day,which started at 10am and didn't finish until about 8p. Me and Danny woke up and went to the post office to post some eBay stuff Danny had sold, then we came home and decided that together we were going to go to "The Imperial War Museum". Danny didn't look too impressed to be honest, it was already nearly 12 and the museum was about an hour away and Danny just looked like he generally didn't want to actually go..as its his last proper day of rest before he goes back to work, needless to say he still went..ANDD he loved it. Now I thought he would leave the museum saying "that was good baby, killed some time, made you happy and was fairly enjoyable"..however what he did say as we left was more along the lines of "Fuck its cold, lets go straight home and eat something I'm hungry, I don't want to catch the 6 'o clock underground crowd and also, that was good baby I liked it". What he meant by "..I liked it.." was more like I loved it, since we have got home, he has gone online, and searched for books, DVDs and researched about Winston Church Hill and Adolf Hitler. My boy loved the museum. I had actually gone to this one before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it last time, so I knew U would love showing Danny around it, I didn't expect him to love it as much as he did, I mean, I knew he was into documentaries and stuff, but I had no idea he would be into History as much as me, especially war history from Briton.

The Imperial War Museum is a great museum to explore if you have a chance. Located near Lambeth North, it is full of memorabilia and facts on World War 1 and 2. Admission is Free, as is most of its exhibits. There is a 1940's house to explore, The Trench Experience and The Blitz Experience to travel through. As well as The Holocaust Experience and plenty of Tanks and Fighter Planes to admire. There is a gift shop that holds memorabilia of your day at the museum as well as a cafe that offers little snacks to keep your energy up. For a museum based in London, for the admission price and for 6 levels of history, The Imperial War Museum is defiantly worth a visit!!

LUSH Part 1,

Hey Lovelies,

I had a super duper hot bath today and decided to use one of the lovely LUSH item i got, i used The Frog Prince.

I have to say for the price i paid for this, it was Perfect. The water went a bright green colour as expected, it smelled gorgeous and the little bit of red from the lips was so soft on the skin, but that wasn't the biggest surprise to me (as i already expected these things from a LUSH product.) The biggest surprise was the little piece of paper that came out once my frog price had disappeared, a little piece of paper with a picture of a price came and i had no clue to that so i was proper smiling at it. LOL I would recommend LUSH products to all, their cheap, cheerful, gorgeous smelling and feel amazing! :)

A step by step guide of how the bath came along with my Frog Prince, at this point the bathroom smelled amazing! :)

Valentines Day.

Firstly HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.

Secondly, you shouldn't need it to be "Valentines Day" to show your loved ones how much they mean to you and how thankful you are to have them in your life. Just saying!!

I'm not one to go by "Valentines Day", but to be fair I buy a card and a little something for Danny, but that's it, I'm not too fussed with it, as I spent so many years as a singleton during this day in the past that I got used to the 14th February just being another day in the calender. Now that I have a boyfriend, its kind of expected of me to buy a little something something, I guess to a degree I also expect a little in return so I'm a hypocrite I understand. I just feel like buying me a gift on the 14th February will not be what proves to me you love me, all the little things we do together, and all the little things you do for me shows and proves to me how much you care for me..since they happen on a day to day basis..everyday is "Valentines Day" to me. :)

Either way, I did buy Danny a card, an iTunes gift card, plus a little glass stand with a little love message. He brought me roses and a card, and then took me to Blue water in Kent, where I brought some LUSH items, I got to spoil myself! :D (Will blog about the LUSH products sometime this week when I use them..)

Watched "Brothers", "The Tourist" "The Town" plus some investigation documentaries on plane crashes..hence the picture. It's been a fun evening.

50 Things that make me happy, Part 1.

Olaaaa,

Ive seen this on a few of the blogs from the chicks I follow and most recently on Hayley's blog and I thought it was a great idea. I mean, what a great post, that after it has been typed up, it leaves you feeling happy and calm, and just generally smiling from ear to ear!! :)

It's a "100 things that make me happy" post..but here's the deal, I wanna change it up a little, and I hope the lovely Hayley and the other girls who have done this do not mind, but I want to make this post a "50 things that make me happy" post. I just think if I make it 100, I will not succeed in it, as I will lose interest or generally not be bothered to carry it on. So 50, gives me a goal..(a realistic goal), it also means it gets finished faster, andd makes me really think about what I am going to put down as I have limited space! :)

MY GUY - I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year an a half, but if you ask any of our friends it feels like much more. We have been through a lot together, but we're still here standing strong. I love him. ♥

Summer.

SUMMER - It has to be my favourite time of the year, its my favourite season for sure. I love how a little sun makes everyone feel happier and you just generally see more smiles on people's faces. I can not wait for Summer 2011.

MAKE UP - I loveee my make up collection, its not massive or nothing special, but its got everything I need for an everyday look as well as a few evening looks, plus it has make up to experiment with. I love all the different people I can become by using my make up. :)

A NIGHT OUT, AN ADVENTURE - Having a night out, weather with friends, the guy, or family is always fun. You don't have to go to a club to have loads of fun. Some of my best nights out, have been to a resturant like Nandos and then a stroll on to see where we end up. Not having a night planned out, usually ends in some fun adventures.

Friends.

FRIENDS - My friends are epic of a huge proportion. I mean it, their probably better then yours. I love all of them differently as I have different memories with each of them, but they all mean the world to me. Love you guys.

PHOTOGRAPHY - I have a new camera, it is not exactly what I wanted as I would love a canon but for now my SJ500 Fuji Finepix will have to do, so far I can not really complain, it took me a while to learn how to use the focus properly, but now it's just a nice camera, and I can't wait to get snapping.

TRAVELLING - I love to explore new places, as you may have guessed I love having little adventures, so travelling allows me to do this. I haven't been very far as of yet, but I still have time to explore more of the world. I have to say I went to Madeira last summer and I think it was one of the nicest, most beautiful places I have ever been in my life. This year I am hoping to go back and also would love to go to Paris with the boyfriend, fingers crossed. I have also started to do more traveling in the UK to get out of London more.

Fashion.

FASHION - I have a love for fashion, and have done since I was little. I love to mix up different pieces of clothes I have and create a new master piece, I also love to take inspiration from other people, such as bloggers or mostly..strangers I see in the street. I'm mostly a high street girl with my favourite shops being H'n'M, Primark, Market Stalls, and River Island. :)

READING - I lovee books, theres no doubt about it, to say how many books I've read is impossible as I started reading the big books, the serious books, the true life books, the kind you buy in WHSMITH at the age of 11. I used to spend some of my lunch times in the school library reading and stocking up on books and some of my weekends were spent at the local library collecting books, and returning them after 2 weeks. I will never forget having to read to my head of year, in year 7 and he turnt to me and said "Ana, slow down..your reading ability is very impressive.." "WOW urm thanks", was all I managed to say..I just wanted to get back to the story! My favourite collection of books to have read is the "TWILIGHT" and "THE HARRY POTTER COLLECTION". A must read to all, kids and grown ups alike.

MYTHS/LEGENDS/MYSTERY'S - I am the biggest nerd for history. I can sit through hours and hours of documentaries on mysteries, such as the lock Ness Monster, Chupacabras, Jack the Ripper, Marilyn Monroes death, and one of my favourites Bigfoot. I can read books, watch shows, and view how they have examined evidence to support the cases, but the fact that there is no logical answer to some of the questions and the proof is very limited, knowing this, makes it so much more interesting for me, and makes me want to find out so much more about it!! :)

COKE A COLA - I know it sounds weird, but Coke makes me happy, there is nothing better then sitting in your house with a cup of coke and the laptop and a magazine to read. That to me is heaven. So Coke is a MUST have on my list.

ENRIQUE - I have a feeling that when god was making this man, he was very happy (perhaps he had a cup of coke with him, as he worked..) either way, to me Enrique is just Perfect with a capital P. His eyes, his smile, his arms, his hands, his hair, his face, his body..I could continue forever. My life will be complete once I meet him and hear him say "Hey Ana.." and to mean it to me, not his girlfriend ~~Anna~~. :P haha.

That was fun, it made me smile every time i was typing about the subject I liked. I hope you guys do it, its a cute little thing to have on your blog and be able to look back on it in a few years time and see if your opinions have changed. :P

New Boots, (Staple Piece..?).

Hello again everyone..

How has every one's week been so far?

At the start of this week I was feeling really positive, it was my last full week of work as I have next 2 weeks off.. plus I was going to be able to spend time with the people I love, doing the things I love and miss doing. Now here I am, nearing the end of this week, and I have NO voice, a sore throat, a huge headache (Migraine style), I feel a fever coming on and the constant need to go do Pee Pee's is killing me.

(Was that an information overload, should I have kept that last part to myself?!) LOL

I feel like my 2 weeks off are going to be spent with me in bed recovering and not enjoying any of it! :( booooo.

Anyways, enough of the depressive stuff, time for the good stuff, and what do I love more then anything, (Well maybe not more then bags.. OH maybe I do..it's a tough one.) SHOES.

I needed a pair of new shoes for work, so I brought a simple pair of black pumps from Primark for £4, brilliant, then I spotted some cute rocker, biker boots, that I thought to myself, "I can wear them to work and make them look causal,but I can also dress them up and make myself look like a rocker chick". So I inevitably brought them.

Primark: I think they were somewhere along the lines of £8

They are so cute, teamed with skinny jeans they go great, or with a black skirt and a leather jacket they go great too. I think everyone needs a pair of biker boots in the wardrobe as a staple piece..!

Hello Ladies (and gents, if there's any out there that read this..)

I had one of the best evening chats with Sabrina at "A little obsessed" (click her name to check her out and follow her). I haven't seen her since the new year, I've missed her birthday and stuff, and I generally really do miss this chick so it was nice to have a little chin wag with her.. but anyways, back to the evening chat. We literally sat on MSN and had a chat about clothes, make up, weddings, and of course our "babies"..our blogs. She has given me some pointers on how I can make my blog look more the way I want it too, although that will take time which is what I am lacking in as I work everyday.

Also if you guys have any suggestions on what I could do, to maybe improve or change my blog, let me know..All comments are accepted with love!

Evening,

I have a huge headache today and a slight worrying problem with my sister, that i don't know what to do about. (~~As always~~.) So excuse me for not really being in the mood to blog much tonight.. I'm going to make this a quick post.

I have a love for music, as do most of us, i would like to think, weather its rap, hip hop, jazz or pop. We all have a type of music we love to rock out to, or chill too.. (I happen to think Magic FM is great to play soothing chill music late at night.) Theres always a song stuck in my head, weather its really old from the 60's (Trust me, yesterday it was the "Beach Boys"..LOL) or really modern such as "Jessie J" anyways lately the song that's been in my head is by one of my favourite singers EVER.. the gorgeous PINK!!

So do you guys have any favourite TV shows? or any you have seen from beginning to end and you know most of the episodes, and you have fallen in love with the characters, maybe they remind you of yourself..or people you know! I'm not too much a of a TV watcher, and will only stick with a show long enough, if i like the plot and the characters. I thought i would do a little post on some of the shows i grew up with and that i have seen every episode of, and some of the series's i watch now and never tire of.

Series 's from these days that i ADORE:

LOST - I love this show and found that it had me gripped from the very beginning. I started watching it really late when everyone who had been watching from day one was waiting for season 6 to come out i was only then starting season 1, but it was worth it. Amazing show!

Favourite character: Jin. Charlie. Kate. Sawyer. Hurley.

Character to hate: easy, Benjamin.

Favourite line: a lot of serious, thought provoking ones, but i'll leave you with a joyful one.

HURLEY- Did either of you see a guy run through here... in a bathrobe... with a coconut?
CHARLIE- Urm no, I saw a polar bear on roller blades with a mango.

The lost cast.

FRIENDS - You can not say you haven't seen this show, its one of those shows that even the reruns will be around forever, even though it has finished, the reruns that come on the TV still get the whole family together sitting around the sofa watching it and laughing. Everybody had a favourite character and everybody had favourite lines from their favourite episodes. One of the best shows to EVER come out on TV.

Favourite Character: Chandler. :)

Character to hate: Hm, Janice.

Favourite line: so many but i guess i will just post any for now.

JOEY- Hey, Chandler, when you see Frankie, tell him Joey says hello. He'll know what it means.

CHANDLER- Are you sure he's gonna be able to crack that code?

The Friends cast.

CHARMED - I loved this, i can't fault it at all, only problem with this show, it had me wishing that my mum would one day turn around to me and say "Ana, you have powers, your a witch and can freeze things with your hands". This show was great, i proffered when Rose McGowan's character Paige was brought into it, but i loved it from start to finish.

Favourite character: Piper.

Character to hate: The Crone.

Favourite Line: so many, this show is good for being hilarious.

PHOEBE- What are those?

PIPER- Slipcovers. To keep the furniture clean. Although I've come to the conclusion we should probably just stand from now on.

The charmed sisters.

ONE TREE HILL - I'm going to be honest here, i stopped watching it a while back and i didn't even get to the part where Peyton was pregnant with Lucas's child, the last thing i remember happening here is Lucas chose Peyton over Lindsay, and then i stopped watching it. I don't quiet remember why i did, but i guess it just happened. I do however want to start from season one again, and this time finish it! One Tree Hill taught me lots of life lessons.

Favourite character: Lucas. Peyton. Brooke. Hayley. Nathan. Mouth. Skills.

Character to hate: Dan Scott.

Favourite line: One Tree Hill is the show on TV with the best quotes for sure. Here's one.

BROOKE- Okay. Read it. Just skip to the last line. Go ahead.
LUCAS- What's wrong with the last line? "You're mine forever." Sounds pretty damn good to me.
BROOKE- Yeah. Sounds great. Sounded even better when I read it the first time last spring in another letter you wrote. To Peyton!

Lipstick Swatches.

Hey Babes,

I've been using one shade of lipstick quiet frequently throughout the month of January and that is "Sleek" 833 Fuchsia, which i mentioned in my last post. This colour has been on my lips throughout most of January and i love the shade. Not only that, but i have found that with "Sleek" lipsticks they feel amazing, when on and when being applied. They just glide right onto the lips, (feeling mostly velvet like) they last for hours without fading and also mange to get people's attention to notice their gorgeous colours. While shopping around on eBay the other night, i also came by a "Collection 2000" lipstick and at £1.90 i brought it, just to see if i liked the colour and how it feels once on the lips. I brought Perfect Pink 1 - Volume Boost.

As you can see by the shades, "Sleek" is a darker, deeper shade and in fact when actually looking at it, it looks like Barbie Lipstick! Where as "Collection 2000" is a lighter pink with hints of glitter (seriously, when your wearing this colour, you don't see the glitter..once the colour is wiped off your hands, your lips etc..glitter EVERYWHERE!) . Altogether i prefer the "Sleek" lipstick, it lasts longer, it feels nicer as it is applied and is more noticeable and vivid as a colour rather then the "Collection 2000" which..wipes off quiet easily, doesn't last very long and leaves glitter after application. I do however really like the colour of the "Collection 2000" lipstick swatch, and i do think the "Sleek" colour would be more suitable for nights out, (Even though I've been wearing the shade in my everyday life.. LOL).

Nails of the Day 31012011 & January Favourites ♥

Hello,

So my lovelies, another weekend down and done, and another weekend without any blogging from me. I tend to find it harder to blog over the weekend period as I'm never home, and i tend to spend most of my day with Danny enjoying the daytime and the evenings with him and friends enjoying the night life!! So I'm sorry.

Today is the last day of January therefore I've been thinking about doing a "Favourite" kinda thing at the end of every month, so for instance today's would be My January Favourites..and so on. I'm kinda excited to do this post as i never have before, it should be interesting.

First up though is a "Nails of the Day". I have to be honest, i took my acrylics off this weekend and I'm gutted that they have made my real nails flimsy. So weak and fragile and they've broken 3 of them. I'm also not impressed with how long my actual nails are after having the acrylics on for over a month. :( I know that fake nails just damage your real ones, but it still annoys me when i see the end result. URGH, when will i ever learn!

Anyways, here is the Nails of the Day (Without acrylics on).. My nails are crapp :sighs:


I used "Barry M" - 66 Matte White.

I'm not too keen on this colour, not as much as i would have liked it, to be honest i think i prefer to see white nails on other girls rather then me. Firstly it reminds me constantly of Tippex, and secondly because its such a bright and vibrant colour it picks up any damage to your nails, which mine are suffering right now, Don't know how long i will be keeping this colour on for.

Holaa my lovelies,

Today is going to be a quick blog post, because i haven't really got any sort of plan for this one, I'm going with the flow and to see how it turns out.

Today's News:

Urm, it's payday today, finallyy.. and I'm planning on paying off one bill tomorrow for good and starting a new one (not so excited about that..) I'm also going to be doing something VERY VERY important, but i don't want to talk to much about it, at least not yet.
I have a new camera, and i still haven't taken a picture of "it" to actually show you guys, so i must do that, I'm also still trying to adjust to it, focusing it can be such a ~~bitch~~ pain. Grr, ~~FuckSake~~.
I have a new Mascara which i tried and tested and have a little review to write about it but i haven't got round to it yet, sorry..(Also as I've said before, I'm terrible at reviews so this may be one of the reasons why i haven't done it yet, ~~trying to put it off maybe?~~).
I have other posts in mind, which i have started and just saved as a draft to continue, hopefully they will be done soon,
On Saturday, i am planning a trip to an important tree to lay some flowers for an important boy! :(
My nails are starting to bug me a little.
Work is bugging me a ~~little~~, OK.. OK A LOT!
The new season of "Skins" is crap, in my opinion!! Bummed out! :(
Oh, and while shopping in Ikea with Danny today, i happened to bump into Tulisa and Fazer from Ndubz.. randomly doing some shopping too! :) good times.

And that is it, sorry, nothing too new!! :( life is just passing by, no real new excitement!!

So I've got an outfit of the day for you today, it's pretty basic and simple, (i need comfort when working with children) but when i put it on, i ~~automatically~~ instantly fell in love with it, perhaps its the colours, ah well.

The Film: Unstoppable

Hi,
I recently saw a film, maybe you've heard of it.. UNSTOPPABLE!
I was so excited to watch this film, since the first time i ever saw the trailer, for a number of reasons. One, Denzel Washington stars and he is one of Hollywood's best leading men, and one of my favourite actors EVER. Two, Chris Pine also stars, and that means there is some more man candy to dribble over, (not saying Denzel, ain't enough to dribble over..). Three, the plot seems so intense and the kinda thing that would have you jumping out of your seat and screaming at the screen. I was not disappointed, this film was pretty good, did make me smile (Denzel's smile alone does that..) but some of the heart touching moments made me smile, i also cried (even though, Danny took the mick out of me, and yes I'm a sap and cry at everything.. but towards the end, its very sweet.) I screamed at the screen in certain parts, and i hoped it would all work out in the end.

Theres also a sorta villain character that you get to hate more and more as the film goes on.
This film is intense, fast paced, and simply a must watch. For any fans of the main actors or any fans of fast paced, on the edge of your seat type films..then this is for you! Also if your a fan of the film "The taking of Pelhem 123" then you will like this, same director, same main man (Denzel) and sorta same theme (trains).
I'd give it between 7-8 stars! :D

Nails of the Day 24012011

Sorry i haven't blogged much over the last 2 days,i haven't been feeling 100% to be honest and i have had a very busy weekend, so blogging got put down on the list of things to do and it just kept moving further and further down the list. :/ Sorry.
Since my last post,things are still pretty shocking around here :(

Right, today I've got a nails of the day plus an outfit of the day for you!! :D
So i shall start with the nails, as this post is mainly about that.

"Barry M" #150 Red Glitter.

It looks very cute in the bottle, and as soon as i picked it up, it reminded me of Christmas. The red glitter just has that effect, i brought it at £2.99 from Superdrug to see if i was going to like.
To be fair this picture doesn't do it justice, its VERY sparkly once applied and dried, and is so noticeable because of how bright it is, but that's about all i like from it. Firstly i don't like the feel of it once its on, feels like glitter.. Obviously but sorta rough and scrappy?!. Second, the first coat i applied looked see through, like i had just dabbed some red glitter from nursery on a finger nail. It needs 2 coats for sure, to actually look anything like nail polish. Lastly, i had to use a topcoat of clear "Barry M" polish, because it felt too rough and like the glitter would actually fall off the nail. :/

Maybe it's because it's the first time I've tried a glitter polish, but i weren't too impressed with the whole application of it.
Now that its on my nails, it does look good and shiny, but i know its going to require a lot of nail polish remover to actually remove all the glitter from the nails (not to mention the hands, this glitter gets EVERYWHERE!)

Have you guys tried a glitter polish and liked it?

Next up, outfit of the day, nothing too special as i was at work and so had to be comfortable.

Jumper: Used to belong to my mother, has no label in and is a few sizes to big for me, which is the look i was going for. (have no clue where she purchased it or how long ago..).
Skirt: HnM.
Tights: Primark.

Necklace: Peacocks

I felt really comfortable and warm in my large jumper and tight skirt, this is such a cute look and i absolutely love my little skirt!

Knife Crime, when will it stop?!

Hola my lovelies,
Today's post is gonna be a little different, and i feel like a few of you might not like it so much, if not, then feel free not to read tonight! I'm going to explain as best as i can without mentioning names out of respect for the people i love.

I work with this amazing girl, shes been a friend for almost 2 years, she helps me whenever I'm down, gives me cuddles, she tries to understand points from everyone who is involved in situations, makes you smile when you need it and stands up for you when you deserve it. She is an inspiration, even though she wouldn't say as much. Right now shes suffering, and i don't know how to make it better for her, you see, someone very close to her passed away yesterday while she was working, and i don't think it has sunk in yet for her. Her little brother of 15 is now gone from this world, taken from her and the rest of the family, in what has grown to become almost acceptable in our society a stabbing. Whenever i am sad, down or feeling like i need someone to talk to, she knows exactly what words to say to brighten my day and lift my spirits, and yet here she is with this tragedy and i have nothing to say to her because nothing seems enough to say. She came into work today, i couldn't believe it, and yet she never once showed what she was feeling, or thinking, and for that i commend her and think she is a very strong person. I know this weekend is going to be hard for her and her family, and the best thing i can offer her and do for her, is let her know i am here if she ever needs to talk or ever needs anyone, but even that doesn't seem enough. Her little brother had an amazing smile, was not yet a man, and was in the middle of his GCSE's. He stood up for one of his friends and this thus ended his life. Left for dead, stabbed in broad day light, in front of tons of witnesses by what has been described by the media as a man with mental health issues. I of course, don't know the ins and outs of the story as i was not there, i can only say what has been detailed in the media and what she herself knows. As far as we are aware a 33 year old man has been arrested and is being questioned. Meanwhile one mans actions have caused so much heart ache and pain to a family, she went to the crime scene this morning before work and left flowers for him, yellow ones i think. I kinda feel like i want too as well, in a way this might give me closure as to say, I'm here to help your sister get through this! I don't know!? Don't wanna seem like I'm imposing.
I hope she knows how special she is, and how her little brother loves her and is watching over her from up above. He was obviously needed in heaven for something.

Things like this, make you realise how lucky you are to have what you do, i know when i got home today i gave both my sisters cuddles, as tomorrow is NEVER promised..!
Make sure you tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, and remember to remind them every day!

I'm so sorry for your loss :(

Sorry this post was very emotional and totally different from my usual ones, but this is my personal blog and i feel like i had to write something about it, to make me understand it a bit better! Thank you for reading, if you did!

how are we all?

So i thought i would do a review on the foundation i purchased yesterday, bare with me as i have never really done one of these. (I kinda feel like, who wants to listen to MY opinion when they can go out there and buy their own and try it for themselves.) Either way i shall try to do one!
I brought "Maybelline - The Eraser" (It says its for anti aging :| i wasn't impressed, but it also says it's the perfect cover foundation, so that made me feel LESS old!) It retails for £9.99 and i personally LIKE it.

It has this little roller brush at the top. You twist the top tip to the left a few times until you hear a few clicks, then you apply to face and start to blend it in a circular movement around the face. You will instantly see the colour start to appear on your face as well as feel it.

I used the shade 040 Fawn.
When i applied it, it felt fresh yet the more i applied the more i felt like it was going to be to heavy on my face, or it was going to make my face feel clumpy and look very Orange.

I was however wrong, once i had applied, i used a blending brush i had (just because i felt like i needed to, and I'm used to it now) to blend it all in, by the time i had fully finished all my make up, the foundation felt light less, and like nothing was there. This little roller brush is quite good at blending it in too, once you've used up all the foundation that has come out from the twists you did in the first place.

I would recommend this foundation to you guys, its not the usual one i go for, but now that i have tried it, i do like it. I feel like you should try it just to see if its your thing though!

I hope i did OK, as a review..to be perfectly honest, its not really my strong point, writing reviews, and i don't know if I'm going to do more, for the simply fact that i think everyone should try the products themselves and not just take on broad my opinions.. i mean (who am i to say weather its good enough for you or not??) - I mean i know it's just an opinion, it's my opinion.. but depending on what i write here, it could put you off from going out there and actually buying it to try it for yourselves..
(Which isn't the plan..)

New Blouse

Hello lovelies,
It's very late, I'm aware, well at least here in the UK it is.. :D
I'm heading straight to bed after this post is done, so I'm sorry its up so late in the night, but its the only time I've really had to come on the laptop tonight. My day has consisted, of worries, happiness, annoyance, and all together tiredness. I did do a little shop today, but for nothing to interesting, just the essentials, like shampoo and body spray. Ohh, i did pick up a new Foundation.. but I'm not sure weather to do a review on it, as I've never done a real one properly!? :/ (Worried much?)

Anyways, I'm hoping to wear it for work tomorrow, so come to the end of the day i guess i can say a little something about it! :) The only thing i picked up today that I'm truly happy with, was a lovely little blouse. It was brought on a whim, kinda like.. "Hm i don't really know if it's going to suit my body shape?" kinda whim, but my sister convinced me to get it and so i did..Lets just say once i got it home, and tried it on..i fell in LOVE! :)

I used "Barry M" #306 Pale Blue, I've had this shade for ages, i brought it last summer and overly used it at the time, and i thought with all this horrible and miserable weather we've been having here in London lately, i thought i would make my nails a little more cheery and colourful, so this blue is perfect for my mood right now. As always "Barry M" have made another gorgeous shade that needs only one coat and lasts for ages without chips! :D Oh, "Barry M", you do make me happy!!

hello my beauts!
i know I've been a tad lame for 2 days straight with no update, but the weekend kinda took over and so i haven't really had a lot of time!
So i figured the best way to explain what I've been up to these past 2 days was to do a VLOG. This is a big deal to me, as i hate the sound of my own voice, and just the thought of you guys actually sitting there watching and listening to it, makes me shudder! o.O but i feel as i have been a little bit of a bad blogger, then i guess punishment has come..!

Sorry for the quality, although i have to say, its a lot better then my last laptop..LOL
So what do you guys think of vlogs?
was mine annoying, and maybe "NEVER do it ever again" type of thing!!?
If you watched till the end, then thanks for putting up with it for 7 minutes, haha.
Although it was very weird to me to film a vlog, (being the first time i have properly done one) i think if i could think of a different kind of format to do..then i may try some more.. lol

Face Of The Day 13012011

heyy.
I'm super tired, and i had a little list of some posts i wanted to do, but work killed me today, so I'm gonna do this post quickly, which wasn't even written down to be done..but here goes anyway. (and just so you know i have finally managed to book time off work, that was the best thing about today from work.. so from the 12th of February till the 20th i don't have any work..!! oh yeah - Do you think i said the word "WORK" in that sentence too much, hahaa, i do!).
It's a "face of the day" post, nothing too interesting, and may even be a bit boring to you all. Earlier today while waiting for Danny to decided weather he really did want to go and get a big mac or not, i was busy taking pictures of myself for this, now, my camera batteries ran out so i used my phone camera, therefore..bare with me about the quality and terrible lighting of these images. I tried to expose the picture more so it became clearer for you to see, but then i looked ghostly.. Don't ask!? So..be nice! :/

As you can see by the pictures, my eyebrows clearly need to be threaded and shaped, poor them, they need some TLC, and quickly..hopefully before Saturday Evening, as I'm off out! :)

Nothing To Wear

Yo Yo,
Today was grim, the weather, work and even the people, only good thing about today was my friend Monique came to visit us at work, and that only lasted an hour. I'm really starting to hate work right now..so miserable and moany. Nothing ever changes. The weather was horrible too.. all grey and damp and rainy..! :(
January depresses me!!

This is how it looked on the way to work this Morning in London, at 8:45am, so cold and lame!!

Moving onn.
I'm having one of them moments right now, where you have self loathe, i hate my body, at this moment in time, why am i so slim! urgh.. seriously having one of them moments where no dresses are looking good on me, therefore i hate myself. By tomorrow i should be better, and this may just be because its 1am and I'm still awake, (WHYY am i still awake?) therefore i am tired.
I am going out this Saturday night, and i haven't been out in a while, so i intend to look beautiful..! *sighs, dreams on* but at the same time, remain comfy and semi warm in this British weather. I have no cash to spare for a new outfit as i have rent to pay for the next 2 weeks, therefore the only option is scrummage around my wardrobe and find an outfit or manage to put a little something together. NOT EASY.

Attempt One;
Open wardrobe doors, looked inside, shut door and walked away with an empty feeling of knowing.."i have nothing to wear"!!

Attempt Two ;
5 minutes later and 2 tweets later, open wardrobe doors, look inside, sigh and start searching.. pull out a tight white dress, look at it and think "Maybeee?!" try it on, look in mirror, look for negatives and things i don't like about it.

quite short.
ew, are those my arms :/
makes my legs look thinner.
can you see my bra straps?.

Gets sister to take picture of her in dress to see how it looks later (when this mood of "i hate my body and all the little kooks it has" has gone.) Puts dress back in wardrobe, closes doors and walks away thinking.. "not sure, still not right!"

Attempt Three;
5 minutes later, and another tweet later, opens wardrobe doors, looks inside, has the attitude "I MUST FIND SOMETHING!!" pulls out a pink dress, goes to the mirror and tries it on. Does a spin and automatically decides "this dress is NEVER leaving this house.." gets sister to take picture of her in it, for later just in case. Takes dress off puts it back and mutters "makes me look horrible, why did i ever buy this?" Closes doors, walks away and thinks "maybe the dress i brought for New Years Eve".

Last and Final Attempt.
Attempt Four;
Goes to sisters wardrobe and looks through her dresses, (desperation has now set in..) looks at a greeny dress and decides straight away "no, i don't want boob tube or nothing like that." Closes doors, walks back to bed and says "maybe a high waisted skirt and a top?"

ONE HOUR LATER;
Sitting on bed, and still has nothing to wear for Saturday Night. Disaster has struck!!
HELPP?!

P.S i have a twitchy eye at the moment, and its been here all day, so annoying, what does it mean when your eye can't stop twitching!?

Whats In My Bag? (image heavy)

Hows everybody today?..its been one of those really wasteful days, you know the kind right? i mean i can't be the only human who experiences them. The days in which nothing remotely interesting or funny or even cute happens so it seems like a waste of such a beautiful day. It's my own fault for not making something out of it i guess, but i had a 9 hour shift of looking after little kids..urgh can't blame me, and YES i am exhausted today.. i can't wait till my head touches my pillow in a bit..*Sighh* The one thing that happened today that is still imprinted in my head is that i want or need to take 2 weeks off in the summer, and someone else in my room also needs to take 2 weeks off around the same time because of their child! I know the boss wont let us both be off, but it was the same for me last year and that's unfair, 2 years in a row.. that takes the piss..! I'm going to book my tickets regardless and if i get fired, then so be it..my argument is fair, and the place i work at is very unfair, different rules for everybody..! The fact that everybody in my room was aware of the time i wanted to take off and said it was fine, then my boss changes things around and moves someone new into the room who had also spoken to her room about the time off and they said it was fine, but now as she's part of our room..its different and whats happened before does not count. BULLSHIT (pardon my French)..i follow the rules in that place like nobodies business and i get it in the neck all the time, also I've never gone to any union and complained about the unfairness of my work place or about the total lack of confidentiality but continue the way you are and i may think twice about it..(no threat, just "FRIENDLY" banter).
Anyways, enough rambling.. i thought i may as well do a post on "Whats in my bag".
So here we go.

Firstly the bag;
This bag may not be the prettiest, but its huge, when i say huge i mean HHUUGGEE! So its great because it fits everything i need on a day to day basis, plus.. some food for lunch time at work andd my hat, gloves and scarf if needed. It's from Primark, so very inexpensive about £6-£8 and theres also the colour black.

First thing in my bag, my purse. It's light pink, and quite spacious, you can fit about 8 cards and its got a place for coins and a place for notes. Again, Primark and I'd say it retails at around £4.

Four of my cards, rent and council tax, national insurance number and debit card.

Some of the other cards i had stored in there, my provisional licence (still having lessons here..), My oyster card, my Iceland bonus card, My NANDOS loyalty card, and a little sister card Lili gave me at Christmas.. :)

I got this little black notebook as i mostly love to write and wherever i am, if i ever need to jot something down, i need a little notebook with me at all times. I got it from Wilkinson's for about £3.

Inside i have already started to fill stuff in, i have made little lists ( I LOVE LISTS) about what posts i need to write and as i do them i highlight them off. Whenever i get an idea for a post or anything i jot it all down to remind me later.

The next thing in my bag is my 2011 Dairy, i need one of these bad boys, for work so i know when i have time off and when others have time off, i also like to write down whats happened during the day, make a little note to remind myself. I got this from the pound shop for, you guessed it.. £1 :D

As you can see inside the dairy, it's literally day by day of what i do and have done.

Next up is my iPod, Danny got me this for Christmas 2009, its blue and got a blue gel protector cover over it, it's engraved on the back with my name, date of birth and a little love message from Danny. The Case is my leopard print one i brought from Superdrug and it came in a pack of 3 for like a fiver. I put the iPod in the case and then into my bag just to protect it more.

Then we have my phone, now it looks fancy because it flips out and has a keyboard, but its really not that great and I'm even going to discourage you from buying it. This is my 3rd Nokia 97, the first got stolen and the second just stopped working on me, and wouldn't turn on..theres so many kooks with this phone, can't wait for my upgrade in may..So far away.

Then the only piece of make up i found in my bag today was this lipstick, i guess i took it to work and that was it, Its a Make Up Academy one which retails in Superdrug for £1 and the shade to this one is 11, i have to say its my favourite shade of lipstick at the moment. I can wear it all day.

I can not say enough words about how amazing this product is (to my hair anyways.) I brought it out of desperation as i could not find something that would keep my curls in without frizz and without making it sticky, oily or greasy. I saw this, brought it, tried it and fell in love. It makes my hair feel exactly the way i want it, and it keeps the frizz at bay. i cant remember how much it was but i will be buying another one when this one is finished for sure. "Curl Expertise Curl Definition Creme with anti static for killer curls and salon styled waves". From Superdrug's own range.

Next i have this little beauty with me, It's my Victoria Secret Perfume, smells sweet, which I'm not usually drawn too, but this little one was a gift all the way from America and i do love a few spritz of it before i leave the house, this one or my favourite Givenchy - Very Irresistible. (where would i be without that one)

I have some handy Highlighters in my bag, no real reason, i just use them on my little notepad these days, you can get them from any pound shop for, that's right.. £1.

So, i have finally changed my nail colour after having it on for at least a week and a half. I've opted for a colour that is not too special and has been around for a number of months, it is also hugely popular with the online beauty blogging community, but i had not tried it yet so i thought I'd give it a whirl. I actually like the colour, i think i like it better in the pot then on the nails, but i defiantly see what all the fuss surrounding this colour was. Getting rid of the blue i had on before wasn't as hard as i thought, and it didn't stain like i first thought, i was actually quite impressed. The new colour only needed one coat and it was perfect!

yes, i know I'm very late..but haha i never follow the trend so i chose to do it now.
The shade is "Mushroom" number 310, for those who are even further behind then me!

and just so you know, these nails are fake due to being a nail bitter of about 22 years now! :P

Yesterday..was very stressful towards the end of the day, being cooped up all day didn't help to lift my spirits nor did my boyfriends constant sleeping, so i kinda blew up at my family.. (Just So You Know..taking something out on loved ones because of others, only makes you feel worse, Just Saying..) Anyways, i was so stressed i decided a nice hot bubble bath with some bath fizzes might make me feel better..

AND IT WORKED!!
These fizzes, i don't actually know where they've come from, as i never brought them i got them as a gift for Christmas, but they are amazing and smell gorgeous! :D

Sunday Blues.

Heyy. Today has been one of the best days London has seen in a long time, gone are the grey and moody skies, gone is the rain and constant drivel..and in its place is bright blue skies, skies soo blue you can actually see the aeroplanes flying again. (Gonna be serious, for a while i thought all flights were off, i didn't see a plane in the sky for over a week :| ) Also here is the sunshine, truth be told it's still freezing indoors so I'm guessing outside is worse.. it may be sunny but the sharpness of the cold still remains, but none the less..it's sunny in London. Which means, go out and enjoy the day, do something fun as you don't know when the sun will vanish again..but NOPE..no chance, not for me and Danny anyway. Danny is still not feeling great, so we have stayed in all day, i mean staying in cuddled together watching a film, or whatever..yeah fair do's, that sounds great, but right now as i have been on the laptop for a while, he has fallen asleep and is next to me as i type..SNORING! greattt. :/

This is where we spent the whole of our Sunday! :D (I do actually love this room, has all the comforts i need, just missing a fridge to be honest)

We have the big screen, where i saw Manchester United beat Liverpool.. Woop Woop..We've also got the PlayStation 3 and the big stereo..! :D

The ICT area, with the MAC PRO, the iPad, an iPod..and all the little gadgets you could need, i call this the "Danny Area".. i was more on the bed with my laptop!

While the day outside was Beautiful, blue skies and if you look closely, you can see a teeny tiny plane in the sky!! Teehee..

Andd yes, i am a geek..but the boyfriend was not well, so ..that was our Sunday!!

I have also been reading a lot of blogs, mostly American, and i have to say i have some ideas for what i can do to my blog to update it, and i think I'm going to really like it! I'm gonna start writing a bit more on my relationship with my boyfriend Danny. I will of course continue to update my blog with whatever takes my fancy, but i think a few posts on my boyfriend, and my sisters and friends will be nice to read too. I hope? I guess after a few days of "TRYING" to decide what the main theme for my blog was and what i wanted to do with it, i figured..i want my blog to be something i can go back on in 10 years and see all the pictures and read all the posts of what i was to at the time. I guess i want more of a journal and diary marking my journey through life rather then a products review blog, or a fashionista blog. Not that there's anything wrong with them, i love to read them and have many favourites, i simply think that's more their niche and mine may be just to note down all of my life and the happenings.

A big Hiiii.. to you all, thanks for dropping by. I'm at the moment on my Twitter, (feel free to start following me) and i have become quite addicted to it, i find it so much better then my facebook at the moment.
Whats your favourite networking site?
Since about New Years Eve, i have been wearing the same colour nail polish, part of this is because i love the colour but mostly, because its such a dark shade i am a little worried that when i do eventually remove it, my nails will still be stained. Now its only happened to me twice, once with the colour black and another time with a strong green, neither of which i want to repeat again, so I'm really hoping this colour when it is FINALLY removed (i love it, i don't see it leaving my nails just yet) will just completely come off and leave no trace of it behind. haha ;)

The nail polish is from my favourite.. Barry M, of course.. and the shade is 292 NAVY. I absolutely love this colour, and one coat is enough, i, however was looking for a really dark effect so went for 2 coats and it worked out just the way i wanted. :D

Hello Readers.. how are we all this evening,
i seem to only do blog posts at night now, or right before going to bed..! :/ not sure this is a good time to get readers to read..when their sleeping, haha.
Anyways, today was my first day back at work for 2011, and boy was it rubbish..like seriously so many staff off or away or "exhausted" in the morning..and then by the afternoon we felt over packed with staff..! Can't complain too much, one more day and then i get to rest again! :D *Smug look*
Today i have read few quite a lot of blogs, trying to figure out how i would like mine to look, i have to say i have some ideas, but they all seem a little jumbled in my head. I will be trying to fix it within the next few days, as hopefully i will have some extra time on my hands because of the weekend.

The Paris Way..

Evening,
So i may not have been blogging at all on blogger but i have found some inspiration while i was away by blogging or posting on my tumblr. I love my tumblr, it allows me to post any image, message or thought so simply and i am constantly inspired because the people i am following are constantly posting other images and giving me ideas for what to post next. Some people don't really understand tumblr and what its all about but i love the freedom i feel when i tumble.. i then realised blogger is the same concept and i just have to allow myself to be more free with my posts and not so uptight about what i post. A friend of mine, (Sabrina) you might also read her blog..if not then check it out by clicking her name. She said i should try and figure out what my blog is about, the main focus of it, to be honest she's right. When i started this blog about 2 years ago, it was all about my daily life and the stuff happening in it. As time has gone on i got inspired by some of the beauty bloggers out there and so transformed it a bit, and now i feel lost as to what its really about. So I'm going back to basics and going to do what i know best and that's be me. Write what i want from the head and heart, if you like it, keep following if not then UN follow..

I really hope to visit there this year, I've been a few times, but never truly got to experience the Parisian lifestyle..I'm hoping to go with my boyfriend and i have to say I've dropped MAJOR hints, but I'm slowly getting nowhere, but if all else fails..maybe a nice weekend break away with the girlie's wont be so bad either!! :) although if it is with the girls that i end up going, then PARIS better watch out, it has no idea whats in store!!

Hello my angels, and a belated
HAPPY NEW YEAR
to each of you.

I have had no inspiration for my blog and I'm a little downhearted about it, because i do enjoy being able to come to blogger and let all my feelings, thoughts, frustrations and emotions out. However as of late, i have had minimal inspiration to write any posts, no matter if i had just gone shopping and could have done a big clothes haul, or weather i had reviews about books i had read or films i had watched, even to make up i had bought and tested. No inspiration what so ever. I don't have many followers here so i don't expect many people to have noticed me missing, but i do want to come back and blog a bit more. Maybe that should be my New Years Resolution...to maintain this blog..?? what do you guys think? i just feel like i have nothing interesting to talk about.. however, me not updating my blog..does not mean i have not been reading yours, because every time i log into blogger and think.."today could be the day, i blog something useful and cool" (and then it never happens) i always check every ones blogs to see the posts they have made recently. This makes me feel even more downhearted as everyone still seems to be inspired and have something of interest to write about.. Hmm :|
I really need to find some inspiration.. Let me know what helps you guys when your feeling unmotivated..

Small Shopping Haul

Bonjour my lovelies,
On Saturday just gone by i had some time on my hands so i made a quick dash to Primark while my boyfriend waited in the queue at the bank, and while in Primark i picked up 2 pieces i actually loved straight away, the first..

My lovely new handbag, it was £9 and i thought it was a bargain, since having it though, i have realised how it can be quiet an uncomfortable bag to carry around. Very BULKY!!

The second thing i got was..
These gorgeous boots, amazingly comfortable and so stylish and only for £15..my new favourite winter boots.

Then i headed over to Peacocks and i picked up a new pair of slippers as my sister Monica had ruined my others. £3 only!

And finally here's what I'm reading at the moment..

I love this book and i miss this man! R.i.P :(
I'm not sure on the price anymore, i've had it since he died!

Miscellany Monday #2

THE BAD:

Work:
I'm on the late shift all this week, which is good and bad, it means i get an extra hour in bed :) HAPPY TIMES, but it means i finish at 6 and have to walk the back roads of Tottenham in the pitch dark, also my half day isn't till Friday afternoon, which means I'm working all week straight which is never nice! :\

Council:
For the second week running the council is something I'm dreading i got to go there again on Friday and tell them about the situation and see if I'm entitled to anything and any help! :( sad times..

THE GOOD:

Bunk beds and Wardrobe:
Finally some space has cleared up in this tight room, i finally managed to buy the bunk beds and me and Danny set them up and then we also fixed the wardrobe that my friend Keeley gave me, and it now looks much better, too bad we cant fit Monica's chest of drawers in here too, but at least the room looks better!! :)

My Sisters:
Their both amazing girls who at the moment are going through very different situations and there isn't much i can say to make them feel better, except.. for Sylvia, Look at you and look at her, lets not even compare babygirl.. that's like comparing music to spinach.. DON'T GOOO THERE!!!! ;) and to Monica, he who hasn't noticed yet, isn't worth your eyes looking at him.. trust me look around and notice he ain't no Taylorr... same for Sylvia he ain't no Ted.. please far from that shit! :)

Not too much to write about today.. and fr the record Sarcasm through texts fails epic style!! :( haha.

Book Review

Bit of a different post for you today.. Book review..!
So as some of you are aware i got very sick on Friday evening and therefore Saturday was spent in bed, sleeping and reading. I found an old favourite book of mine called "A Perfect Match" by Sinead Moriarty and today is Tuesday and i have already finished it.

In brief, The book centers itself around a couple Emma and James Hamilton and their struggle to adopt a baby. It starts off explaining how hard the couple had been trying for 2 years to have a natural pregnancy and when that did not work, including using IVF and doing lots of tests and drugs, the couple have decided that now is the time to adopt. This book is a follow on from the best selling "A Baby Trail". I haven't actually read this but I'm going to be buying a copy come payday. This book however is the journey the couple have from start to finish about adoption, the fact that you have Emma's brother Sean and her sister Babs in the background causing all kinds of havoc with the stuff going on in their lives. As well as Emma's best friend Lucy who is marrying James's best friend Donal, all together there is more then one story but the book focuses mainly on the couple. I found it to be an easy read, kinda like a breath of fresh air, i found myself finishing one chapter and thinking why stop here? lets carry on to the next chapter. My favourite character has to be Emma, the main one. The story is told through her eyes and i just love her attitude to most things i love the way she gets over excited about things and they way she over exaggerates and panics, it all adds to the humor the book brings, i sometimes found myself having little giggles in between pages, there are some very funny lines and sections in this book as well as real life events you could actually picture happening on your road with the people you know all to well. I can safely say the book at the end had a little twist and if your one like me, i recommend you do not open the last page of the book and read it, quiet a bit is given away in that one page. This is a book i recommend to anyone who fancies some light reading and a little humor, also if your a true reader and love a good book, I'd say this is the one!! :) giving this one the thumbs uppp!

THE BAD:

Council :
I have to go council tomorrow morning on my day off and ask them for help, i have too many money worries at the moment and with my father acting the way he is, i need support of some sort. Truth be told I'm scared their either gonna laugh me out of the council, be no help what so ever and tell me i gotta keep doing what I'm doing, or get the social involved. Worse case scenario. :(

Halloween :
I have no money for any sort of Halloween party or festive thing this year, and this fact is a little depressive to me, who really enjoys HALLOWEEN.

Half Term :
I hate that my sisters are on half term this week, which means no school or college and yet I'm still at work and I'm the only person in the house who's waking up at 6am, when it is still pitch black outside and kinda scary to be walking alone, not to mention FREEZINGGGGG!!, i hate English weather.

Inbetweeners :
I don't watch TV too much but one show that i do love to watch has finished and to i do actually miss it!

THE GOOD:

Payday :
OK this is a good and bad, as I'm super glad to finally get some money in my pocket, but at the same time, a lot of the money has to come out straight away for other bills. :/

Reading :
As a kid i was one of the few teenagers who knew there were amazing books in the school library were kept and i actually enjoyed sitting in the library reading a good book, call me a geek or whatever you desire but reading books is just amazing. The last full book i read was to do with the Twilight collection, so I'm so glad that my sister found an old book i brought from Tesco years ago, and yes I've enjoyed reading it once before but I've gone back and I'm reading it again. I seriously recommend everyone reads "A Perfect Match" by Sinead Moriarty. Thumbs up for this book.

Boyfriend :

I seriously am the luckiest girl alive, i don't care what anyone says, no one can compare to my boyfriend, he is just pure beautiful-ness, i understand some of you must be thinking please shut up with all the soppy love stuff, but lately..i can't complain and recent events have made me realise how amazing he is and how lucky i am to have him in my life.. i watched him while he slept a little today and i have to say i fell in love a little bit more.

The Future :
Not that i know what is going to happen tomorrow let alone the future, but what me and Danny have been talking about lately has really made me smile. I can not get those images out of my head, and i can't wait for it to be a reality instead of a vision! :)

Friends :
I do love my friends, all of them are amazing in their own sort of way and they each bring a little something different into my life, lately i feel like I'm having to choose between certain things, which I'm not too pleased about, but i think these things are minimal and can easily be sorted out.

Tattoos & Food Poisining

Hello, its been a lovely Saturday and i have been at home all day sleeping. OMG so i didn't have work yesterday as i had to go to the hospital with the boyfriends dad, that was OK and afterwards i finally hung out with fabz in wood green. I ate MacDonald's and a Slurpee, yeah bad idea. I've gone and got food poisoning!! :'( spent all of Friday night vomiting, and to make matters worse i was staying at Danny's so i vomited in his house from 10pm till about 3am. He kept having to go to the bin and empty the bags of sick and bring me new ones. Although what this little drama has actually done for me, is made me realise how amazing my boyfriend really is, down on his hands and knees cleaning all the sick off the floor with a towel. That's true lovee..! ♥ I've been eating grapes, bananas, and water all day, i also tried some rice! :/ I'm hungry but scared that whatever i eat wont stay down..!
Rightt on to the reason for this post, I really want another tattoo..! I have 2 and I've been thinking about getting another one, i always had it in mind and it was going to be a quote to do with my "mother" but i have decided that may not be the best idea and so i still want a quote tattoo, but i have to think about where on my body i want one and what i want it to say!
I already have 2 tattoos, and here they are

hello lovelies. So another Monday down, nothing interesting happened, just work..which to be honest was very tiring, and I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow, work is just gonna be hard!! :( greatt. I came home as soon as work finished today, and to be fair i haven't done much, watched TV and sat on my sofa, I'm a little sad my boyfriend fell asleep on me today, i doubt that it happened so early on..but i think he drifted off as the evening wore off. I also managed to take picture, but beware in this picture i do not have a lot of make up on, so its a little Natural and i had just done a 9 hour shift at work, so tired ain't even how i was feeling.

Christmas List!

Hellloo gorgeous readers,
all how has your weekend been? Mine has been a typical weekend of sorts, I've been with the boyfriend, Done my weekly shop and had my driving lesson..i guess the biggest thing that was out of the ordinary to happen to me this weekend, was having a new instructor. Instead of the lovely David, i now have the direct speaking Harry. I'm not gonna lie, i miss David big time, but I'm hoping with Harry i can pass my test first time round and hopefully by February. So that'sthat's new with me, what about you guys whats new with all of you?
There's about 69 days till Christmas and I'm already planning on what i want, truth be told though..I'm broke and after adding up all my calculations for what I'm getting friends and family, and paying the bills, I'm left with hardly any money to treat myself. :( sad times, but we'll see how much i can afford.
So for the Christmas list..

A pair of skinny light blue jeans size 8..hopefully from Topshop.

An Aviator jacket, Brown and cream..warm looking for sure! :)

I also want some new knitwear that maybe i can wear over skinny jeans! :) such as jumpers, all warm and cosy, I just haven't been able to find anything that i seriously want! :)

A Little Snippet & I'm Back

Hello Dears,
First off, if you stuck we with me thank you, i am now back and can get back to normal blogging, semi normal! LOL i had a very busy 2 weeks, where in which i had to go to court for some stuff, and i also had my theory test, which if your asking, i PASSED!! :) *Funky dancing* anyways back to blogging, i have done some shopping and cant wait to test out all the products to then review them!! SOOO whats been going on with all of you while i have been gone?! For me, apart from life becoming pretty hectic and i still have 3 more things I'm not looking forward to this month.
1. Hospital appointment.
2. Council coming round to fix house,
3. Paying the fine..(Dad has to give me the money)
I actually can not wait for October to just go away, this month has been non stop madness..!
then next month its about saving for Xmas and the following month its Christmas and then new year and finally January in which i have my baby boy's birthday and we start saving money for our future! :))
Hasn't 2010 gone by so fast..? this yer sort of whizzed by, i quiet like that! :)

I'm at my boyfriends house at the moment, and i have had a very busy week which would explain why the blog stayed UN-updated. I also have another busy week coming up, with me dreading the Wednesday and the Friday. Small Haul

Hey my lovelies,
I have a mini haul for you, i am supposed to be saving money and i have to say i was very good when i saw one pair of winter boots for £18 and a pair of dainty dancing shoes for £15 and i didn't buy any. I did leave the shops quiet sad and my boyfriend sort of had to drag me out of the shops without the shoes, but at least i saved that bit of money.
Sooo on to the haul,

I brought this blue top with beads at the front and lace down the back for £5 from Bardo. :)

I needed a new pair of leggings even though the weather is getting colder and more like jeans weather, i still wanted a pair and at £3 from Primark it wasn't too expensive to have. I brought them in a shade of blue/dark grey.

I loveee winter jumpers, in actual fact i prefer the woolly ones more then the plain ones like this one, but i needed a long-ish one to maybe wear with leggings. This stripy one is cute and i love the sleeves, adds something unique to it. As well as the colours of the stripes..

This was a two in one piece, it was a flower long sleeve top with a long thin black sorta coat over it, the coat is attached, i did like this and it wasn't until i got it home and showed my sisters that one of them said "ahh very HIPPY" hmm :/ not the look i was going for but ya know.. lol

going to buy it! :) Finally i brought this top, it's quiet simple with stripes again, and i love the colour. Thought i would brighten up my wardrobe a little bit, even though its not really made for winter i still think its cute, and the price had gone down from £3 to £1.. in Primark. COME ONNN... course imBARGIN!

I have been noticing how i have a lot of "stripy" tops, do you have many of them in your wardrobe..??

Thank god the weekend has arrived and i am a little excited at the thought of what I'm going to do to my blog, i will fixing it up, and updating it.. SIDEBAR wise! LOL a little makeover if you will and I'm so excited! What has everyone been up to lately? Me.. urm working a lot, and since yesterday evening i have taken on a new approach to things, i hate getting taken for a mug so i have decided no more miss nice girl and if the boxing gloves have to come out for anyone they will!! I have had enough and will not be taking any more crap for anyone anymore.
Enough of that little rant!

Hey my lovelies,
Its been a long time coming this post, but i honestly am starting to feel a little disheartened. I have no inspiration at the moment, not just for blogging but anything in general. Literally, just can't seem to get inspired by anything any more these days and so i have been lacking in posts. Sorry :(
Anyways for now, i thought id show you my jewelery and make up storage..well.. some of it :)

I have my big cloth-y pouch on the far left that i got from Ikea, and its a pack of 3 i think. Inside there, is all my creams, lotions, hair products like serum and frizzy products. You will also find face moisturizer and some sprays for sensitive skin that i brought while in Madeira. I've also got some free samples i need to test out and maybe review.
On the far right i have a make up storage box, that again i brought in Ikea. I have separate compartments and in honesty i think i need to but another one. I have one compartment for nail polishes, another for blushers, bronzers and eye shadows (i wanted these separate but ran out of room, hence why i need another one). Then i have lip glosses and lipsticks, another one for concealers and foundations, and finally i have the back section full of mascara, eyeliners, liquid liners and its got face sponges. I will defiantly need to buy another box so i can separate all of these, but since my make up collection is teeny tiny at the moment i guess this will do for now. I've always been a "shoes" girl and whenever i have money about.. it tends to go on shoes or clothes not so much beauty stuff, besides i work with kids so i don't wear a lot of make up through out the week, they rub it all off anyway. LOL

I have my tall Jewelery tower that i got from Asda. Top shelf is bracelets and bangles, 2nd shelf is earrings, 3rd shelf is rings and badges (don't ask..i was really into the whole Badge wearing style) and the last shelf is full of necklaces. Again this is another storage unit i need to buy more of, just because theres no more space for more bracelets and some of my necklaces are too big and bold to go in the bottom shelf as well. Some bloggers have these towers as make up storage, which i think is also a good idea. I have more necklaces hanging on my wardrobe door. Need more storage. :/
I have a tiny little cup that's been divided into 2 parts, i think i got it from Staples..but I'm not too sure. I use one side for brushes and the other for nail clippers and eyebrow curlers to hang off. (not all my brushes are on display here) :P
I have a tiny heart shaped box, which used to have chocolates in that my workmates gave me, I've now eaten them and replaced the box with hairbands, and hair clips, And finally i have wipes, i have just recently ran out of my usual Nivea wipes and this time opted for some Baby wipes for sensitive skin from pampers and so far their doing the trick.

ANDDDD that ladies is my make up storage at the moment, not the best as i don't have a lot in the collection but i like it the way it is. Only thing bugging me a little is the fact i can never find any products that i want to use when needed quickly because there all buried under one another in the slouch storage, but until another solution pops up this will have to do. haha Besides i don't have much room full stop for anything! :(

Morning,
this is not one of my usual posts, but i feel like a big part of me is gone and finished so i feel the need to blog about it. I was very late on the whole "LOST" series, and actually started to watch it when everyone who had been watching from the beginning was waiting for season 6 to come out, but once i got into it, i really loved it. From the very beginning, it has had me captured. I've loved all the mysteries and how i am always asking questions, like how? what? where? who? why? It has had me laughing, crying, and generally thinking things through. (Yes i am officially sad) :P It does have some strong messages in there though, and often reminds me to be thankful for what i have and to always tell my loved ones how much they truly mean to me. I have favourite characters but they change throughout episodes and seasons. I have to say i cried when some of the characters died, but i cried the most when Charlie died, his death was painful to watch and i really wanted him to survive.. i thought it was so unfair. I'm not gonna spoil anymore and tell you who else might live, die, come back..or what anything on that island is. I recommend you all watch it, at least give it a try, if your not into it by the 4th episode then at least you tried. It might not be to every one's taste, and even Sylvia who watched it with me, wasn't too satisfied with the ending, she liked it but she didn't seem satisfied. I on the other hand, thought it was a god ending, any other way and the people from the island would not have been happy! So yes i was happy with it.
One piece of advice, if you do start watching it, then don't go and look online for any upcoming episodes, because it will ruin everything for you! :)

Been a while, and I'm sorry. It was my one year anniversary yesterday so I've been preparing for that and I've had one of the most stressful weeks that I've had in a long time. Coming online was the least of my worries but for this i apologies. Now time for a rant.

*OMG, how can i feel like this? all the time, this has to mean something? i don't have any idea what i can do to make myself feel better or to make this feeling go away. It's like constantly!! urghhh.*

I am really happy and rather sad, it's a mixture of feelings. Sooo i have bills and bills to pay therefore i am depressed.. urgh my money seems to just fly out of my bank account these days, on the plus side i have finally started to sort out my make up storage, i have to upload the pictures i have and i will do a proper post on it as well as a review of a new foundation i am currently using. All i need now is storage for my make up brushes and sponges. Do you guys have any ideas of how i can keep them stored, I've seen the whole "pebble/Sand in a reasonable sized jar and the brushes stand up right", but I'm wondering if there is any other way that i can store them!? How are you all, what have you been doing this week?
At the moment I'm at my boyfriends house and him, his cousin and 2 uncles are downstairs watching the football. Portugal vs Cyprus, so i thought I'd take the chance to come to his room and use his laptop a little. I'm really in the mood to watch a film tonight, but without having to actually go to the cinema, and since the boyfriend works tomorrow i doubt he's up for a late night, so i guess I'll have to wait till he drops me home and maybe watch a DVD with my sisters. Have you seen my sister Sylvia's Blog..?? if not you should check her out..

What else is new, oh i have finally booked my Theory test for the 8th of October..that gives me about a month to get down to some serious revising, which means my driving book has now got a permanent place in my handbag so wherever i go i can always test myself a little. Also my boyfriend has gone and gotten himself a new job, he has found a Driving job which is what he's always wanted. So i am very happy and proud of him, even though he didn't actually go looking for the job, his dad asked a mate for it, but still I'm really happy that he's not going to have to work weekends anymore, he's getting paid more and most importantly he's going to be doing something he actually enjoys. The downside to him having a new job, he can't take me to my test on the 8th, just bloody great. I felt with him by my side i couldn't fail, but just great.. anyways I'll try and work something out for myself as i always do.

New Stuff

Hey Dolls,
i thought I'd do a post on 2 of my favourite items that i brought while in Madeira. The first one is a hoodie, i didn't pack any type of coat or cardigan except a denim jacket but when you drive up to the very highest mountains on the island they start to get a little cold or chilly up there so i borrowed one of Danny's old coats (hoodies) from when he was a child. It had racing car pictures and everything, i decided enough was enough and went and brought my own hoodie, i have to say i love love itt! :) Sylvester Hoodie - It was on sale for 10 euros and it was from Pull And Bear.

they were from The second thing i brought is of course a pair of shoes, these are what i call my Portuguese shoes, i love them to pieces, there wedge and a little high but they feel comfortable and look amazingggBershka for 15 euros.

As you can see my hoodie is pretty amazing..? :)

Hello..girlie's.. got a survey post to do as it's 12:30 at night..and not much is happening this Saturday/Sunday morning.. so here we go..

Would you rather?
Lose all your old memories or never be able to make new ones?
This i think is one of the hardest choices to make, i would never ever wanna lose any of the memories I've made with anyone, even if i have photos their not the same as the memory, however not being able to ever make any new ones, is also heartbreaking. I would never choose from these two. SORRY!

A friend moving far away or losing touch with a friend that lives right near you?
I have many friends who live right next to me and I've lost touch with so many of them, we have each others number and know where each others houses are at but we hardly see or talk to each other.. where's a friend moving far away..is harder. At least if their close you can still try and go see them..if their far away it's harder for sure.

Betraying a friend or having a friend betray you?
Both horrible, of course the worst is having a friend betray you, i would never want it to happen to me and just thinking about a friend betraying me is hard, i would of course also try my best never to betray a friend of mine!

How have your feelings changed throughout life?
Oh this would be very long to explain, but of course they have changed throughout my life, and in lots of different ways. I now understand the meaning of love. I now understand the importance in believing in yourself and not caring about what the rest of the world says and thinks. Lots of my feelings have changed as i have changed with the years too.

Your best friend died because of you, what would you do?
Guilt would take over, depending of curse on how they died. I think i would forever feel guilty of it, i don't wanna even think of losing one of my best friends, guilt would just consume me.

What's your worst fear?
EASY: losing the people i care most for in this world.

If you could change one thing about your past what would it be?
I don't know if i would, if i did it could make a huge difference in my life and i might not be the person i am today because of it. :)

Do you believe that you can be in love with 2 people at the same time?
I believe that you can love more then 2 people, of course you can.. your family might consist of more then 2 people and you love them. BEING in love with 2 people however is a little different, i have never experienced this, i have heard people say that they feel it, but unless it's happened to me i really have no clue.

Why do you think bad things happen to good people?
It's just the way the world works, i think bad things happen everywhere in the world and to all people, but of course when something bad happens to me i do tend to come out with this sentence too.. it's just the way god intends life to be. Besides whatever he throws in your path it's to prove to you how strong you are to make it through.

Would you sacrifice self respect for love?
If it's true love, not doubt love, true love, not meant to be together love but feeling your gonna be together love then i know I'd sacrifice a lot, but my self respect depends on the situation completely.

Which is worse, drowning or being buried alive?
OMG, i cant think of 2 more terrible ones, id have to say drowning, but i guess being buried alive has the same effect. Your breath being cut short.

What's the one thing you want to do before you die?
Travel a bit more, visit new places and explore them, make lots of memories that will keep me smiling in my old age.

Whats the best feeling in the world?
Feeling loved, wanted and needed...! :)

Would you rather freeze to death or burn to death?
Burn to death only because i assume it would happen faster!! :/

What would you do if you had no family or friends?
Be a loner in the big world, that's quiet a scary thought.. i have idea what I'd do, probably try and make new friends and try and have a family of my own i suppose. I'd always miss out on a bit though having no other family.

Hello my dolls..
how has your summer been so far? i got back on Monday and have been so busy with unpacking and sorting out all the bills that came through my door while i was away.. so i am very sorry for the lack of updates, also i would like to say a huge thank you to all my new followers and all the old ones that have stayed with me. Thank you for reading my blog, and leaving your comments, they all make me smile and give me such a nice feeling knowing that you take the time to read what i have to say...! so thank you! :) and welcome :)
I guess i will go back to my normal posts once I've adjusted to life back in the UK, and may i just add, I've been back 4 days and all its done here is pour down with rain.. i am constantly with my umbrella, the only umbrella i used on holiday was my sun one at the beach to protect me! :/ not impressed England! Evening blogging community, hows everyone? :)
I'm sorry i haven't blogged in the last few days, things have been a little busy for me, what with last minute shopping to make sure we had everything we need, and changing our lovely pounds into lovelier euros, and also packing. OK packing has always been fun for me, I've been packing my own bag since i was about 15 years old, but i always had mum there to remind me if I've forgotten anything or to give me helpful tips, this year however without mum and being our first holiday without an actual adult, well if you don't include myself, packing is literally a nightmare, we're forgetting normal everyday things like a "hairbrush" or "sunglasses". Also trying to fit things into a toiletries bag as well as a make up bag is proving to be very annoying. There's 3 girls going and we're using 2 bags only..so sharing is involved. Packing has gone from an exciting and anxious time to an annoying, "Is my white t-shirt with buttons clean" time.. URGH! so again i am sorry for the lack of updating here. I just thought I'd let everyone, at least everyone who reads this..know about why my blog has been on hold for a bit, i leave this Thursday morning, but i will blog before i go.. i promise! :) until then..i have a quick question and would love some feedback.

In the process of downloading songs for the Ipod for the 3 hour flight journey, any music you can think of..? I'm open to all options. Thanks! :))

My birthday and Stuffs.

Firstly i don't really know what's happened, but i kinda got bored of the whole "letter Challenge".. haha i think i did OK, i mean i wrote 15 letters out of 30, that's half..!
Secondly, HELLOOO *big wave* to all my new followers, brings a smile to know you come to my page to check things out! :) Feel free to leave a comment and say hey anytime!
So yesterday was my birthday and apart from England having the crappiest weather in ages, i was also a little sick, so i spent most of the day tucked up in bed sleeping or curled up on my sofa playing PlayStation 1, YES 1..not 2 or 3, i went old school and played Mary-Kate and Ashley games i have based on fashion and high school! I wanted my birthday out of the way, i had a feeling it weren't going to be very nice and i was right..but that's life :/ Today at work i got my gift of chocolates, and £25 from my team, one of the parents also brought some cake in for us to eat as a treat..! :) Sylvia brought me a lovely summer dress, which I'm planning to pack away for our holiday, Monica has yet to give me anything.. but I'll give her time.. LOL. My daddy is making my cake at his factory this Saturday for a little party thing..Danny's parents got me a little sketchbook and Danny got me lots of pieces from "Me to you bears"..! It was all pretty cute..! (I think)..

I have a big Tatty Teddy with three roses in his hands, i have a cute little pen which belongs with the sketch book his parents got me, i have a little Tatty Teddy that's came with my little Dairy padlock and keys included. HE says i "Think too much" so i guess this is a way to let all my thoughts out.. and finally i have a little phone charm (which won't be going on my phone but probably my keys). It's the one with a "D". I'll explain the story.

Story Explanation:
Before i met Danny, one day randomly at work while going to take the rubbish out i noticed a "Me to you bear" on the floor and it had the letter D on it, i picked it up and thought "how cute". I took it home with me and left it in my bag totally forgetting about it. Within 4 days of finding it, i met Danny and we had our first date..only a while later when i found the teddy again did i think "Whoa, what a sign, fate maybe?" anyways.. it become my little charm, but i never told Danny about it. We had been going out a month, when we split up and i was so heartbroken i threw the teddy out my bedroom window and into some brambles and bushes, i never saw it again. When me and Danny got back together, of course there was a few heart to hearts, where i eventually told him about it and he thought it would be cute if he could replace it! :) Sweet thought to be fair! And that's the story of the "D Charm".

Afternoon my lovelies,
i went into town, well I'm calling it town but it's Wood Green. Anyways i had an important meeting today, stuff to do with the council, i took my little sister Monica with me. After the meeting had finished i went on to buy some clothes for the holiday which is fast approaching.. so i have my first little shopping haul! :)

These are my Khaki Leggings, with the little button studs at the bottom. (I also have them in black)

Pink and grey flower dress/long top..perfect to wear with leggings in London (with its mixed weather) and perfect for a simple dress on holiday.

And lastly my friendship bracelets, i always buy loads of these in the summer months, they look nice are cheap and there's so many colours and patterns to choose from, if you know how to do them yourself that's a bonus. The black bracelet was brought in a shop called Evolution a while back and i think it was £3-4.
Each little thin bracelet was brought in Camden market in one of the stalls for £1 each.

Dear Grandpa,
I miss you every day, and I'm so sorry i haven't been to visit you at your final resting spot. It's been a hard few years as you already knew, and I'd hate to think that you were angry with me when you passed or that you didn't believe i and the girls would be OK.
